Born in the 18th century on terraces overlooking the sea, the tarantella sorrentina is a courtship set to music. We dance it the way our masters taught us: original steps, hand-sewn costumes, instruments made by Sorrento craftsmen.

Frequently asked questions
How long is the tarantella show?
Usually between 20 and 40 minutes, which can be split into two moments (for example the couple's entrance and the cake cutting). We agree on length and number of dancers together, based on your celebration.
Where do you perform?
All over the Sorrento Peninsula, the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Naples and the Campania region. On request, elsewhere in Italy and abroad too.
How much space do you need?
A few metres of free floor are enough for our couples of dancers, even between the tables. We check the venue with you before the event.
Can the guests dance with you?
Yes, that is the joy of the tarantella: at the end of the show we teach a few steps and hand out tambourines and castanets.
How far in advance should we book?
For weddings in high season (May to October) it is best to write to us as soon as you have set the date. For events and hotel evenings a few weeks are often enough.
Do you speak English?
Yes, we reply in English too: many of our couples come from abroad to get married on the Amalfi Coast.
